General Information


The SdKfz 186 Jagdtigeralso known as Jagdtiger was a tank destroyer , 77 of which were used by the germans between 1944 and 1945.

The vehicle was manned by a crew of 6 and was 3.63 metres wide, 7.46 metres long, 2.95 metres high and weighed 70 tonnes.

Powered by a 700hp petrol engine the SdKfz 186 Jagdtiger was capable of a road speed of 23mph and a cross country speed of 10mph. The SdKfz 186 Jagdtiger had a road range of 106 miles

Based on the tiger ii chassis, the vehicle was armed with 2 light machine guns, a 12.8cm Pak 44 L/71 with a muzzle velocity of 920m/sec which was capable of penetrating 203mm of armour at 800metres
