General Information


The Daimler MkI was developed from experiences with the Dingo scout car.

It was armed with a shoulder controlled Ordnance Q.F. 2pdr gun and a besa machine gun in a Tetrarch Tank turret.

The MkI suffered from gearbox problems, but these were remedied by 1942.

The MkII had changes to the gun mounting,drives escape hatch and engine covers.
