General Information


The Flammpanzer II was a flame thrower , 155 of which were used by the germans between 1940 and 1945.

The vehicle was manned by a crew of 3 and was 2.4 metres wide, 4.9 metres long, 1.85 metres high and weighed 12 tonnes.

Powered by a 140hp petrol engine the Flammpanzer II was capable of a road speed of 34mph and a cross country speed of 15mph. The Flammpanzer II had a road range of 156 miles

Based on the pzkpfw ii chassis, the vehicle was armed with 1 light machine gun, a Model 40 Flame Projector with a muzzle velocity of 0m/sec which was capable of penetrating 0mm of armour at 800metres
