General Information


The PzKpfw I Ausf Aalso known as Panzer I was a light tank , 585 of which were used by the germans between 1934 and 1941.

The vehicle was manned by a crew of 2 and was 2.09 metres wide, 4.06 metres long, 1.72 metres high and weighed 5.4 tonnes.

Powered by a 57hp petrol engine the PzKpfw I Ausf A was capable of a road speed of 23mph and a cross country speed of 11mph. The PzKpfw I Ausf A had a road range of 90 miles

Based on the pzkpfw i chassis, the vehicle was armed with 2 light machine guns.
