The Heavy Tank T26E5 was a heavy tank , 26 of which were used by the americans between 1945 and 1945.

The vehicle was manned by a crew of 5 and was 3.54 metres wide, 6.38 metres long, 2.8 metres high and weighed 44.89 tonnes.

Powered by a 500hp petrol engine the Heavy Tank T26E5 was capable of a road speed of 22mph and a cross country speed of 6mph. The 186 gallon fuel capacity gave the Heavy Tank T26E5 a road range of 100 miles

Based on the heavy tank chassis, the vehicle was armed with 3 light machine guns, a 90mm Gun M3 with a muzzle velocity of 853m/sec which was capable of penetrating 117mm of armour at 800metres
