The T18E2 Boarhound Armoured Car was an armoured car , 30 of which were used by the americans between 1943 and 1945. The vehicle was manned by a crew of 5 and was 3.11 metres wide, 6.31 metres long, 2.65 metres high and weighed 24.09 tonnes. Powered by a hp petrol engine the T18E2 Boarhound Armoured Car was capable of a road speed of 50mph . The T18E2 Boarhound Armoured Car had a road range of 300 miles Based on the armoured car chassis, the vehicle was armed with a 57mm Antitank Gun M1 with a muzzle velocity of 900m/sec which was capable of penetrating 75mm of armour at 800metres
