The KV-1s was a heavy tank used by the russians between 1942 and 1945. The vehicle was manned by a crew of 5 and was 3.28 metres wide, 6.95 metres long, 2.69 metres high and weighed 42.5 tonnes. Powered by a 600hp petrol engine the KV-1s was capable of a road speed of 25mph and a cross country speed of 12mph. The 121 gallon fuel capacity gave the KV-1s a road range of 156 miles and a cross country range of 110 miles. Based on the kv chassis, the vehicle was armed with 3 light machine guns, a 76.2mm Gun M02/30 L/40 with a muzzle velocity of 680m/sec which was capable of penetrating 74mm of armour at 800metres
