The Cruiser Mk VII (Cavalier A24)also known as Cavalier was a cruiser tank used by the british between 1942 and 1945.

The vehicle was manned by a crew of 5 and was 2.95 metres wide, 6.4 metres long, 2.46 metres high and weighed 26.5 tonnes.

Powered by a 410hp petrol engine the Cruiser Mk VII (Cavalier A24) was capable of a road speed of 24mph and a cross country speed of 14mph. The Cruiser Mk VII (Cavalier A24) had a road range of 165 miles

Based on the centaur chassis, the vehicle was armed with 2 light machine guns, a Ordnance Q.F. 6pdr 7cwt MKII MKIV with a muzzle velocity of 900m/sec which was capable of penetrating 75mm of armour at 800metres
