The Inf Tank Mk IV (Churchill I A22)also known as Churchill was a infantry tank , 303 of which were used by the canadians between 1941 and 1945.

The vehicle was manned by a crew of 5 and was 3.28 metres wide, 7.51 metres long, 2.49 metres high and weighed 38.5 tonnes.

Powered by a 350hp petrol engine the Inf Tank Mk IV (Churchill I A22) was capable of a road speed of 15mph and a cross country speed of 8mph. The 150 gallon fuel capacity gave the Inf Tank Mk IV (Churchill I A22) a road range of 127 miles and a cross country range of 75 miles.

Based on the churchill chassis, the vehicle was armed with 1 light machine gun, a Ordnance Q.F. 2pdr with a muzzle velocity of 792m/sec which was capable of penetrating 47mm of armour at 800metres and a Ordnance Q.F. 3inch Howitzer with a muzzle velocity of 650m/sec which was capable of penetrating 85mm of armour at 800metres
