T-26/B-2

The T-26/B-2 was a light tank used by the russians between 1937 and 1945.

The vehicle was manned by a crew of 3 and was 2.42 metres wide, 4.85 metres long, 2.08 metres high and weighed 9.6 tonnes.

Powered by a 91hp petrol engine the T-26/B-2 was capable of a road speed of 17mph and a cross country speed of 13mph. The 63 gallon fuel capacity gave the T-26/B-2 a road range of 140 miles and a cross country range of 110 miles.

Based on the light tank chassis, the vehicle was armed with 2 light machine guns, a 45mm M1937 L/36 with a muzzle velocity of 765m/sec which was capable of penetrating 34mm of armour at 800metres
