The Medium Tank Type 97 (CHI-HA) was a medium tank used by the japanese between 1937 and 1945.

The vehicle was manned by a crew of 4 and was 2.36 metres wide, 5.54 metres long, 2.26 metres high and weighed 15 tonnes.

Powered by a hp petrol engine the Medium Tank Type 97 (CHI-HA) was capable of a road speed of 23mph .

Based on the all chassis, the vehicle was armed with 2 light machine guns, a 57 mm with a muzzle velocity of 0m/sec which was capable of penetrating 0mm of armour at 800metres
