Vickers Mk IIA

The Vickers Mk IIA was a medium tank used by the british between 1930 and 1945.

The vehicle was manned by a crew of 5 and was 2.8 metres wide, 5.38 metres long, 3.08 metres high and weighed 13.5 tonnes.

Powered by a 90hp petrol engine the Vickers Mk IIA was capable of a road speed of 15mph .

Based on the medium tank chassis, the vehicle was armed with 3 light machine guns, a Ordnance Q.F. 2pdr with a muzzle velocity of 792m/sec which was capable of penetrating 47mm of armour at 800metres
