The BA-27 was an armoured car used by the russians between 1927 and 1945. The vehicle was manned by a crew of 4 and was 1.82 metres wide, 4.68 metres long, 2.55 metres high and weighed 4.5 tonnes. Powered by a hp petrol engine the BA-27 was capable of a road speed of 30mph . Based on the armoured car chassis, the vehicle was armed with 1 light machine gun, a 37mm Hotchkiss L/21 with a muzzle velocity of 402m/sec which was capable of penetrating 11mm of armour at 800metres
