General Information
The PzKpfw I Ausf B based on the existing PzKpfw I and was in use from 1935 to 1941.

It was armed with 2 light machine guns. The PzKpfw I Auf B was built by utilising the lengthened Ausf A chassis designed for the Kleiner Panzerbefehlswagen I after it was realised that the PzKpfw I Ausf A was underpowered and had an engine prone to overheating. It used the same superstructure and turret as the PzKpfw I, but had an uprated engine producing 100 HP.

It was track driven with the engine and drive sprocket to the front of the vehicle, the track fed under 5 roadwheels, and then under a rear idler, finally returning to the front drive sprocket via 4 return rollers.
